Presentations on Contemporary Japanese Culture and Society

The presentations below were based on 4 videos found on a YouTube search for the word “Japan” in Greek (Ιαπωνία). Chiba University students used these videos as a starting point to say something about contemporary Japan, while trying to avoid stereotypical notions and monocultural assumptions of the country.

Group 1: Camera and the Japanese

Group 2: Vending Machines

Group 3: Cosplay and Social Capital

Group 4: Chiiku Snacks
